Abstract
As an important part of bulk ports,the structure design of bridge-type grab ship unloader is very important.Especially,the design of metal structure is directly related to the loading and unloading capabilities of all the port.In the 1200t/h bridge-type grab ship unloader,this article focuses on the design of the contact beams which connect the door frames on both seaside and landside of the ship unloader.The contact beams are used to resist the deformation of the door frames under the car inertia force and wind load.So the contact beams are important in the design of all the ship unloader.
The contact beams belong to box beams and this article shows the design and calculation of contact beams depending on the design rules for cranes.Then,using the 3D software we accomplish the model with the data we get.Finally we can obtain the engineering drawing of the contact beams.
The 3D software we use in this article is the Creo Parametric of the Creo3.0.As the new release of the Pro/E,the Creo Parametric has direct Modeling function which can make our design work more simple and quick,so the modeling time can be reduced.
